After you take an early morning hike to the Sanlan
Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary near Banana Lake and
observe the water birds and alligators in the tree-lined
waterways leading to Banana Lake, you will say to
yourself: "This is better than most of the State Parks".

Exit 10 of the Polk County Parkway interchange on
U.S. 98, less than 10 minutes to fast food restaurants,
